Metal boots in the snow is The newest addition to the Eyeshadow 5 Colours collection. an icy green harmony that adds transformative new depth to smoky eyes that is perfect for the season.
I have been really enjoying a few BYREDO fragrance, and wanted to try the makeup line for a while. BYREDO launched the newest shade METAL BOOTS IN THE SNOW as their new autumn winter eyeshadow color. After seeing many green eyeshadow palettes this year, from NARS, CHARLOTTE TILBURRY, WESTMAN ATELIER, VISEART to CHANEL. BYREDO has presented the most interesting color combination and formula with this icy green palette. I also purchased the Kajal Pencil in shade Neela Neela to complete the eye looks.

My Review
METAL BOOTS IN THE SNOW is a unique and beautiful palette with combination of green, blue, grey, silver and brown in different texture. First, Let’s start with Strap and Ground Frost, the two colors impressed me the most as they both performed really well on my lids either applying with fingers or brushes. These two shades can be used to create a simple yet beautiful eye look for everyday. The glittery silver top coat, Frimas, will be the favorite shade for glitter lovers. The texture is gel-like formula and It performs the best with fingers without any glitter glue needed. The Boucle shade is an interesting shade with dark bluish grey, that needs more application to be able to build up the color. Verglas is a beautiful silver shade that shows slight pink on my skin tone.
I think Metal Boots in The Snow is a perfect palette to try BYREDO eyeshadow as the shades are quite practical with a twist on the texture.
I was really impressed with the color payoff of the Kajal Pencil, as the color is extremely opaque and bold with one simple application. It was so smooth and soft on the waterline, and was not irritating my eyes at all.
