DIOR 2021 Holiday Écrin Couture Swatches and Demo

It’s that time of the year, all brands slowly release their holiday collection. dior has released the first few items from the holiday collection.

DIOR 2021 Holiday Écrin Couture collection is the first release for the this holiday. There are two palettes from this Écrin Couture collection, one is an 5-shade eye makeup palette, the other one is DIOR ÉCRIN COUTURE ICONIC MAKEUP COLORS that is a full face, eye & lip makeup palette.

I personally don’t like big palettes, and the mixture of powder and cream products in one palette. So the Iconic eye makeup palette is my first choice. I am so glad that I was able to receive the item promptly, and really happy with this palette.

The packaging

This makeup palette is presented in a giftable box featuring the signature blue and gold motifs from Dior’s Atelier of Dreams, The palette’s embossed case is inspired by the facade of the iconic Dior boutique at 30 Avenue Montaigne. The packaging of both box and eyeshadow palette are stunning. The box is really beautiful in person, especially with gold accents along with the blue motifs. The compact itself is embossed with the facade of Dior Boutique, and the material is almost soft like leather. The design of this compact is perfect as a holiday gift.

The shades and colors

When I first saw it online, I was not impressed by this 5-shade palette, when. However, I still purchased it solely because of the packaging. I am so happy I placed the order online, and get to see it in person. These shades are so creamy, smooth and long lasting. All the shades are practical, and be used every day. I was able to easily apply the shimmer shade with both fingers and brushes. The dark brown shade is perfect to use as eyeliners, or create a smokey eye look.
