Dior has been surprising us with new releases from eyeshadow palettes, bronzers, blushes to highlighters. All the items look stunning online, and it is hard for me to just pick one. I’ve added the new Dior 569 Golden day eyeshadow palette into my collection.
The palette and packaging
Dior 569 Golden day eyeshadow palette is one of Dior’s newest limited edition 5 color eyeshadow palettes, the other is 749 Romantic Voyage which is a purple quint. I picked up 569 Golden Day, because of it looks more appealing to me as a everyday color story with more versatile combination.
The packaging is the same as the regular line of 5 couleurs eyeshadow palette, that is dark blue lacquer with silver chrome edges and comes with two applicators.
The shades
569 Golden Day is described with Golden brown shades with intense black tint on Dior’s website. It has to matte shades, 2 shimmery shades and 1 demi matte shade.
The center shade : A mauve pink shade with purple undertone that has really fine satin finishes.
The top left shade: A golden brown shade with fine shimmer.
The top right shade : A gold shade with finely milled glitters which is perfect for a topper shade.
The bottom left: Matte Brown Shade to add the definition or use as a base color.
Bottom right: Matte deep black shade which allow you to use it as a liner or add more definition.

Reviews and thoughts
Dior 569 Golden Day is a beautiful palette with wearable brown tone shades in different finishes. I personally love the top two shades which represent the name ” Golden Day” the most. The brown and gold shimmery shades that can be used alone or as a topper shade. On the other hand, the matte brown and black shades are my least favorites; However, both colors add the depth for the palette but they are slightly dry and not easy to blend as you can see in my swatches. The key is to pick the right brush for these two shades will solve the issue of blending.
