The weather is getting warmer and warmer, and I am slowly switching my skincare products and routine. I have sensitive combination dry skin which makes me carefully choose my skincare products in any season. While making sure my skin gets enough hydration, I have to make sure the products won’t give me breakouts. It is really tricky for my sensitive combination dry skin.
After cleaning my face, the first step is the key. Immediately supplying enough hydration is really important. So the essence type of toner is my go to choice. I recently bought the Korean Tir Tir Rosemary One Essence and I’ve been using it in my morning and evening skincare routine since June. I love it so much.
This deeply hydrating essence is made from 100% Jeju Rosemary extract, known to be a powerful skin-soother. It helps to prep your skin to more effectively absorb subsequent products like serum & moisturizer, by allowing active ingredients to penetrate deeper into your skin. Below is what I think and how I use this Tir Tir Rosemary One Essence
- The packaging – simple, clean and modern. Nice looking bottle to be on my vanity counter. The cap is easy to open and close.
- The Smell is pleasant – great earthy smell that is really pleasant.
- The pouring function from the spout – really nice and easy to control the amount of essence I need.
- My Morning Routine : Use it as a toner, pour a generous amount on my palm and press into my face after cleaning my face. Following a light moisturiser in the summer or facial oil in the winter.
- My Evening Routine : Use is as a hydrating facial mask. I found the disposable compression mask capsules from Daiso. All I need to do is filling up the pod with the essence, the mask sheet will absorb the liquid and double up the size. Simply opening it up put on my face for 5 mins, follow by a light moisturiser in the summer or facial oil in the winter.

I think Tir Tir Rosemary One essence is the toner I will keep in my vanity counter for long time. I think Birchbox sells it. If you ever have a chance to try it out, let me know how you feel.
