SUQQU 2021 Holiday Makeup Kit B 111 TSUKIKAGUYA 107 Lip Gloss

SUQQU released a special makeup kit in two colors, inspired by the “雪月花/SETSUGETSUKA (the snow, the moon, and flowers)”. “雪月花/SETSUGETSUKA” was the word derived from classic Chinese poetry and is used to depict the natural beauty in Japanese. Shines splendidly and elegantly with a hint of femininity.SUQQU’s special holiday makeup kit provides a graceful look reminiscent of cold winter.

There are two kits from the holiday makeup collection: Kit A is a cooler tone features a beautiful purple eyeshadow palette, on the contrast, Kit B features the warm tone orange eyeshadow palette. I picked up SUQQU 2021 Holiday Makeup Kit B and was really impressed with the color combination. The eyeshadow palette is unique and wearable not only for the holiday season but also for everyday look.

The packaging

The concept is inspired by the “雪月花 / SETSUGETSUKA (the snow, the moon, and flowers)”. The exterior shows beautiful silver speckles over the regular black lacquer packaging and housed in a beautiful gift box.

111 TSUKIKAGUYA 月輝月 Eyeshadow Palette

A Unique combination of Beige (shimmer), Antique Gold (Metallic) , Orange (Matte), and Grayish Brown (Gold Shimmer). I was really surprised that all four colors complements each other so well, so the orange shade is not only the show of this palette. The Antique Gold and Grayish Brown shades are the perfect shades to go with the Orange shade. All these four shades can be buildable and blend-able with each other very well.

102 Moon Gleam Highlighter & Blush Duo

The SUQQU 102 Moon Gleam Highlighter & Blush duo is in cream formula, and the blush color is a beautiful warm terra-cotta brick red shade. The texture is silky smooth and really easy to blend with fingers or brushes. The highlighter is in the same formula as the blush and it features a subtle golden beige with really fine pearly effect. Both colors are amazingly smooth and comfortable to wear.

SUQQU Comfort Lip Fluid Glow 107 MITSUKAKI 蜜柿

This Holiday Makeup Kit comes with a smaller size of SUQQU comfort lip Fluid in glow finish. The shade is 107 MITSUKAKI which is a Warm brown orange that gives a beautiful holiday festive look. The shade is actually reminds me of a persimmon orange color.

My Review

I didn’t expect to like this holiday launch, because the bright orange shade in the eyeshadow and lip gloss. However, after a month of being on and off applying this makeup kit in different ways, I tend to use it more and more. I love how all the eyeshadow shades can be worn in different combination. I also like to use the lip gloss is like lip tint, just dab a little on my lips. Overall for the price of USD 85, this holiday makeup kit is at a great value and it makes a beautiful gift. Unfortunately both makeup kits are limited edition and been sold out everywhere other than the preloved platform in a much higher prices. I wouldn’t recommend anyone buying the price gauging products, but I would suggest to look forward to SUQQU’s future launches.
