Here are the ingredients for a 4-person serving seaweed soup
1. A small handful of dry seaweed (rehydrated in water and rinse well after 3 minutes)
2. Quarter Onion
3. Three stalks of onion cut in tiny sections, separate white & green part.
4. Four cloves of garlic, minced well.
5. Four cups of water or vegetable stock.
6. Optional: sesame seeds, radish (for adding texture of soup) .
Cooking Process:
1. In a large soup pot of cast iron pot, add one tbsp of oil under medium heat.
2. Add white part of green onions, cook until you can smell the aroma or the onion.
3. Add Onion, garlic and stir until you can smell the garlic.
4. Add radish, seaweed and water or vegetable stock, bring it to boil.
5. Turn the heat to low and simmer for 3 minutes, open the lid and add green part of green onions and sesame seed.
6. Voila, Bon Appétit.
